Resin Driveways vs Concrete Driveways
Resin bonded driveways in Lincoln have been around for a number of years, infact it may well be a couple of decades, but 1 thing that is without doubt true its their durability and the fact they look awesome.
The driveway is prepared pretty much like any other driveway preperation as in the old one is dug up and removed and there is a sub base installed prior to laying the resin bonded driveway, once this has been done the resin is mixed with the pea gravel and laid in pretty much the same way as concrete albeit a little thicker.
Below is a typical resin driveway installation.
The resin is porous unlike concrete which means that in wet weather the ground water runs through the resin bound gravel and through the sub base into the water table, this is especially good in cold weather as it minimalises frost and ice thus making it a lot safer from slipping incidents.
